iota digest
vol. viii
Need to catch up on last week?
Two months of iota. If we were a baby, we’d just be starting to smile at you in recognition. Maybe even following objects with our eyes, and bringing our hands to our mouth on purpose.
Luckily we’re three adult men writing stories for you to enjoy, or else this digest would look more like: “diwonkke dogoekekd igghsnceis dkwgoqg kwogjsleig dkgowhd”
This week in the iota digest…
From Johnny:
Solomen tells a story of kings and dragons that mirrors the wounds in his listeners’ hearts. Through fire, laughter, and restraint, he transforms vengeance into compassion. Auntie Sheila listens unseen, recognizing her own loss in his words.
From Isaiah:
A double feature this week. First, a quick recap of the season up to now, complete with voiceover! Let my buttery voice remind you of the events that have occurred so far.
Second, the beginning of the next episode. TRIFOO, CHIFFON, and THE LAUGHING SWORDSMAN have a fascinating conversation about the forces that move behind the curtain of reality. I.T. gets some bad news about the trap he laid, and sets in motion a contingency plan.
From Jason:
In this episode, Scalavagen prepares to leave with Psal and his mercs in the hold of the Oksetrek. Meanwhile, we learn more about one of Psal’s prisoners and Linas makes an important decision that will impact his people.
Goo goo gah gah.
See you next week.
